Matt + Erin + Hank

Matt and Erin lived just a couple of floors below us in downtown Philly. She was my running partner and good friend. He was Jack's and Rex's favorite buddy. They were a lot of fun! I'm pretty sure our year there would have been far different without them. We shared a lot of meals, rides to church, late night chats, many laughs and a trip to D.C.

We left Philly for Salt Lake. They stayed in Philly and had a mini-Matt :) Lucky for us they are in Salt Lake for the summer and we've loved seeing them again. I got to photograph Hank the other evening and it was pure joy.

Patch Preview

This was a fun shoot! It may have had something to do with the fact that we were being sneaky and trying to surprise her husband for Father's Day (I love surprises). When he showed up home unexpectedly we scrambled and looked like blubbering idiots trying to make up a story of how we knew each other and what I was doing there with camera equipment sprawled about the room. It was funny. Then she finally just spilled the beans. Oh well. . . he had no idea what had been captured inside my camera. I love what was captured. Those two kids were a ball to photograph and their mom was equally as fun to work with.

Caroline & Chelsea

These two darling gals just graduated from high school. They happen to be my nieces. They are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. I loved the chance to take their senior pictures a while back. We met downtown on a warm afternoon and snapped away.
